The researcher added that the drug cleans and protects the burnt area from infection.
"It also has pain relief and anti-inflammatory properties and expedites healing of wounds," he said.
Seyyed-Kazemi noted that the medicine prevents burns from scarring, adding that it also helps burn victims grow back hair.
"The drug does not have any side-effects and will be commercialized soon," he said.
